3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

5.1 How Conversion Works When you upload a font file for conversion, that file is transmitted to our servers, processed to produce the converted output, and made available to you for download. This process is transient by design.

5.2 Temporary File Retention Uploaded font files and their converted outputs are stored temporarily on our servers solely to perform and deliver the conversion. Files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within a short window after the conversion is complete—typically within 1 hour. We do not retain copies of your files after deletion.

5.3 No Indexing, Analysis, or Sharing We do not analyze, index, train on, or share the font files you upload for conversion. Your files are processed mechanically to fulfill your request and for no other purpose.

5.4 Your Responsibility for Font Licensing Font conversion does not alter or transfer the licensing rights that apply to a font. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to convert any font file you upload—whether under the font's original license, an open-source license such as the SIL Open Font License (OFL), or any other applicable agreement. Converting a font does not grant you new rights to use, distribute, or embed it.

5.5 No Warranty on Conversion Output Converted font files are provided as-is. We make no guarantee that converted files will be free of errors, fully compatible with all software or platforms, or suitable for any particular purpose. For more information, see our Terms of Service.

5.6 Abuse and Security We reserve the right to temporarily log metadata about conversion requests (such as file size, format type, and timestamp—but not file content) for the purpose of detecting abuse, rate limiting, and maintaining platform security. This metadata does not include your font file content and is not linked to your identity unless you are logged in.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We may share your information with:

  • Infrastructure and hosting providers - who store and serve our platform data
  • Analytics providers - who help us understand how the platform is used

  • Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe
  • Usage data is retained for a reasonable period to support analytics and security purposes

When data is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy, we delete it or anonymize it.

Our platform is global and your data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside of your home country.
